You can also use medicinal herbs for facial skin in their natural form, preparing decoctions, infusions and masks from them at home.

Dandelion

In cosmetology, dandelion has long been used for facial skin in anti-aging procedures. The plant also helps, with dermatological problems, with the help of it you can get rid of freckles and whiten the skin of the face. The composition of the plant includes rubber substances, vitamins of groups A, B, C, E, PP, organic acids, resins, sterols and saponins.

The most effective are facial rejuvenation cosmetic procedures that use masks and cosmetic ice from dandelions.

  1. Anti-aging mask. To prepare this mask, you need to take dandelion juice in the amount of 5 ml, 1 avocado, 5 g of starch. Make a puree from the avocado, and then mix all the ingredients together. The resulting mass should be applied to a pre-steamed face, left for 30 minutes, and then rinsed with cool water. The mask can be applied to the face 2 times a week. After several applications, deep and small folds on the skin are noticeably smoothed out, and the relief of the face becomes more elastic.
  2. cosmetic ice. To prepare this product, you need: 10-15 ml of dandelion juice, 50 ml of distilled water, 5 ml of hazelnut oil. All ingredients must be mixed together, poured into molds and sent to the freezer. The procedure should be carried out in sessions of 10 days, while the course of treatment should not exceed 3 times a year.

Rosemary

Rosemary may well replace any lifting agent, since it contains the HSP70 protein, which can slow down the aging process at the cellular level. In addition, the plant contains tannins, fatty acids, vitamins and trace elements that can heal and rejuvenate the skin of the face.

Most often, rosemary is used in the form of an essential oil, which can be purchased at most beauty stores and pharmacies. To prepare cosmetics at home, the plant will have to be grown by ourselves, since in its natural form it very rarely gets on the shelves of shops and pharmacies.

  1. Rejuvenating mask. To prepare the mask, you need to grind half a banana into a puree, then add 50 ml of avocado oil and an infusion or decoction of rosemary. The amount of decoction or infusion must be calculated, given that the finished mask should resemble thick sour cream in consistency. The product can be applied to the face 2-3 times a week, after which the skin becomes more elastic, wrinkles are smoothed out.
  2. Decoction. To prepare a decoction, you need to take 20 g of dry rosemary leaves, pour 200 ml of boiling water and put in a water bath for 15-20 minutes. Ready broth must be filtered before use. Take 50 ml 2 times a day.
  3. Infusion. The remedy is prepared from 50 g of the leaves of the plant, which must be poured with a glass of boiling water and infused for 3-4 hours, it is advisable to do this in a thermos or wrap the container with the infusion in something warm. After the appointed time, the infusion must be filtered.

Important! Decoctions and infusions of rosemary can also be used in the form of compresses or make cosmetic ice out of them.

Chamomile contains many valuable vitamins, microelements and organic acids for the body. All this together helps to rejuvenate, moisturize and whiten the skin of the face, making it more elastic and supple. In cosmetology, the most effective result can be achieved using decoctions and infusions of chamomile.

  1. Decoction. To prepare the product, it is necessary to pour dry chamomile flowers - 25 grams with a glass of warm boiled water, and put in a water bath for half an hour. The finished broth must be filtered and, if necessary, diluted with boiled water. The product should be wiped with the skin of the face and décolleté. After application, wrinkles on the face are visibly reduced and smoothed.
  2. Infusion. To prepare an infusion of chamomile, you need to pour one tablespoon of the dried and crushed plant with a glass of boiling water and insist for half an hour. The finished product must be filtered, and, as in the previous recipe, wipe the skin of the face with it.

Sage

The use of sage for cosmetic purposes will help cleanse the skin of the face and preserve its youth for a long time. The plant contains anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic substances, which is why sage is so widely used in cosmetology.

  1. Infusion for the face. Ready-made sage infusion can be used as an additive to lotion or tonic, as well as used in the form of compresses and lotions for the face. In order to prepare an infusion of sage, pour 3 tablespoons of dry raw materials with a glass of boiling water and insist in a thermos for 2 hours. The resulting infusion should be cooled, filtered, put in the refrigerator and used as needed. From this infusion, you can make cosmetic cubes - pour into molds and place in the freezer, and wipe your face with them in the morning and evening.
  2. Decoction. A decoction of sage effectively affects the skin of the face, rejuvenating and toning it. To prepare it, three tablespoons of sage should be poured with boiling water and simmer for another 15 minutes. The resulting product should be cooled, strained and washed with it once a day.

In nature, there are a lot of medicinal plants that can be effectively used for cosmetic purposes. The main thing is to do it correctly so that the plant used does not harm, but rather can bring the maximum benefit from the application.
